Kona Veterinary Service has two locations on the beautiful big island of Hawaii!
Our original AAHA accredited location, in Kailua Kona, and our second location in Waikoloa Village. We currently have a fantastic team of 6 doctors and would like to add an additional doctor to the team. Our small animal practices are fully equipped with digital imaging, ultrasound, Cubex medication/inventory management, and in house lab equipment to serve our community with a high standard of care. The services of veterinary specialists are utilized routinely, both in person at our office, and via telemedicine. Our doctors share a rotating on call schedule with afterhours emergency visits treated at our Kona office. Full time doctors work 4 weekdays plus a rotating Saturday shift/emergency on call weekend. We are open to discussing alternative permanent schedules as well. We utilize Guardian Vets triage service as the first point of contact for after-hours client calls decreasing the incoming call numbers our doctors address personally on after hours shifts.
