The mission of Veterinary Clinical Sciences is to improve animal and human health and well-being through clinical service, education, and the dissemination of new knowledge. VCS and the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) are closely aligned in this mission, with over 65 full-time faculty members and 170 staff and house officers. The VTH is the leading referral center in the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest with over 20,000 patient visits per year.
