Five-doctor mixed animal practice seeks two full time veterinarians. The ideal candidate is a team player with practice emphasis on small animal medicine and surgery or mixed animal medicine and surgery.  New graduates are welcome to apply and would benefit from mentorship by our five-doctor staff during the transition from vet school to private practice.  

Small animal veterinarians would be focused on general small animal practice and surgery. Our practice has an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, and a class IV therapeutic laser.  We do not offer small animal after-hours emergency services but do hospitalize patients that may require shared evening or weekend care.    

In addition to small animal medicine and surgery, mixed animal veterinarians would be responsible for the care of cattle (primarily beef), small ruminants, horses, camelids, and pigs.  We have a large animal haul-in facility and provide stocked vet trucks for ambulatory work for our mixed/large animal veterinarians. After-hours emergency services are provided for large animals only and duties are shared between mixed and large animal veterinarians.  The practice's services are typically 60% small animal and 40% large animal.

BRAC is located in a historic college town in the southern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Lexington is surrounded by rural areas and is known for its abundant outdoor activities, however, larger cities are within an hour drive.
