At Best Friends Animal Hospital in Talent, Oregon we are looking for a committed veterinarian looking to settle in as a long term team member. We are a busy family owned small animal GP, looking for another veterinarian to grow with our practice. Advancement/partnership possible for the right fit. Our schedule is 25% surgical/dental and 75% routine preventative health and sick exams. 30 minute appointments, 4 days per week, NO ON CALL. Health benefits/401k/PTO. Our clinic is located in the scenic Rogue Valley surrounded by national forest, just north of the California border and only a couple hours from the Oregon coast. There is skiing, endless hiking, fishing, and camping just a short drive away!
We strive to build long term client/patient relationships, provide compassionate and quality veterinary care for all our patients. In order to help us do so we have extensive on site diagnostics to help provide efficient diagnoses. These equipment include Idexx in hospital blood and urine analyzers, in house digital radiography for routine and dental studies. There are mobile ultrasound specialists in the area who we consult with regularly for advanced studies, but also have in house on site ultrasound for screening diagnostics and sample collection.
*We do not take on-call shifts or host emergency hours, as there is a 24/7 referral hospital 20 minutes from our facility.
*Salary between $80,000-110,000 based on experience.
*Benefits include insurance with optional dental/vision, 401k plan, and PTO. Licensing fees are paid for and a CE stipend of $1,000 per year is provided. Salary is based on experience.
*Preference would be given to an experienced practitioner comfortable with both surgical and medical triage/case management. A motivated, well-qualified recent graduate looking to build a long term career would also be considered for mentorship.
