Jennings Veterinarians, Inc. seeks full-time veterinarians for our community practice located in North Vernon, IN. Our friendly team includes three full-time veterinarians with a support staff of eight, including an RVT. We are located in the true middle of southeastern Indiana in the city of North Vernon, Jennings County. North Vernon is a smaller city with easy and reasonable access to Indianapolis, Louisville, and Cincinnati and we serve as a bedroom community for Columbus, Indiana, the home of Cummins Engine Company. This allows nearby access to a truly multinational and multicultural population with many opportunities for shopping, entertainment, cultural activities, and recreation. We have local access to multiple parks and recreational opportunities including hiking trails, off-road cycling, climbing facilities, hunting, and fishing. Local groups and activities include community theater, youth sports, church groups, etc. We are located within 30-40 minutes of three state parks and the Ohio River as well for additional recreational activities. The practice is large enough to provide a very full and diverse caseload yet located in a small enough community that you will see and know your clients in your personal life outside of the practice. We are a mixed practice, very predominantly small or companion animal, with a limited amount of large animal and equine exposure as well as a diverse mix of other species occasionally. We offer preventative and wellness care, primary care of illnesses and disease, primarily soft tissue and limited orthopedic surgery, dental care, and more at the primary care level. The practice is equipped with Idexx in house laboratory including ProCyte, Catalyst, Snapshot, and UA analyzer. Digital radiography (fixed and portable), ultrasound (in-house and portable), laser surgery, cold laser therapy, turnover, Doppler BP. The practice management system is Idexx Cornerstone. We offer a haul-in facility for both bovine and equine services, as well as ambulatory services.
