South Fork Animal Clinic located in Rigby Idaho is looking to add a veterinary technician to our team! We are looking for someone who is motivated, self-driven and quick on their toes to fill a full-time position at our clinic. The job description of a veterinary technician includes: providing general nursing care, examining animals and checking vitals, taking X-rays, administering medication and treatments, drawing blood, monitoring animals under anesthesia, preforming teeth cleaning dentals, and maintaining a clean and professional work environment. Our clinic is open Monday through Fridays from 8am to 5pm, and Saturday 8am -12pm.
We are a well-established, mixed animal clinic which has seen significant growth within the last few years. Our services are approximately 60% small animal. Large animal caseload consists of equine, beef cow/calf, dairy, and bison. Occasionally we do see llamas, alpacas, sheep and goats.
Our clinic includes: three exam rooms, a surgery suite, one large treatment area, two separate kennel rooms, plenty of office work space, a grooming room, X-Ray room, and a spacious large animal area with a Silencer hydraulic squeeze chute.
