ACCESS (Advanced Critical Care, Emergency & Specialty Services) San Fernando Valley is looking to hire a Technician Trainer to join our fantastic team!
We are among the largest, most advanced, inclusive, and progressive veterinary multi-specialty referral groups in Southern California. We are comprised of emergency & critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, interventional radiology/endoscopy, surgery, and neurology & neurosurgery.

Some of the things you'll do, depending on your skill set, department, and credentials:
Supports current training objectives and organization, while creating and supplementing additional technical training coursework as necessary
Administer written and practical exams for technical training, and work with department leads to provide updates on technical performance for review purposes
Assist in the arrangement and provision of technical training for all pertinent staff through multiple forums/modalities/times to maximize exposure to 24-hour staff
Assist in technical staff reviews in a skill/technical assessment capacity to ensure staff members are provided clear expectations and understand how they perform compared to those expectations
Write outlines, texts, handouts, tests, and practical exercises as needed for all technical training
Scheduling and organizing all technical training meetings, classes, and practical coursework
The best candidates:
Licensed Registered Veterinary Technician
Have a minimum of 3 years as a veterinary technician
