Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services of Rochester, New York (VSES) is in need of a locum Emergency Veterinarian to provide support (at least 3-5 days at a time preferred), during the period of February – June, 2020. We are the only 24/7/365 emergency and specialty referral veterinary hospital in the greater Rochester, New York region. Our 28,000-square foot facility, is equipped with on-site 1.5 Tesla Siemens Avanto MRI, 16-slice helical CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, surgical facilities and a 7 day a week full-service diagnostic laboratory. As a member of the VSES family, you will be working alongside our diverse and talented team including board-certified specialists in internal medicine, surgery, radiology, neurology, and dermatology. Our Emergency service consists of ten attending clinicians, a critical care specialist, 4 rotating interns and outstanding registered veterinary technicians and assistants. Specialized interns in medicine and surgery as well as surgical residents are on call to provide additional support to the Emergency service as needed. We strive to provide exceptional quality of care and have the resources to make that a reality.
