Becker College is well-known for its animal studies programs and is one of only a few programs nationwide that operates a full service animal clinic on campus (Lenfest Animal Health Center), providing students opportunities to conduct examinations and perform procedures under the supervision of faculty veterinarians. Becker College offers a four-year bachelor of science in the School of Animal Studies in the following disciplines: Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Equine Studies and Veterinary Technology. Becker College also offers two associate of science degree programs in Animal Care and Veterinary Technology. Both veterinary technology programs are accredited by the AVMA. Becker College recently added 4 Agile Dual Degree programs that allow students an opportunity to incorporate working with animals into other exciting career paths including business, mental health counseling, criminal justice and forensics.
Becker College is located in Worcester, MA with a sister campus in Leicester, MA, where the School of Animal Studies is located. An affiliated equestrian facility is located in Paxton, MA. We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join our team of faculty and clinical teaching staff. The ideal candidate will assume teaching and clinical duties and be an integral partner in the growth of our animal studies and veterinary sciences programs including our AVMA accredited veterinary technology programs. The School of Animal Studies is comprised of over 15 faculty and staff members, including veterinarians, certified veterinary technicians and other professionals. As a full-time faculty member you’ll provide the leadership and innovation needed for the school to expand its programs and build collaborations for future growth. This is a 10 month, full-time position.

A DVM or equivalent is required for application and successful candidates must maintain a Massachusetts license to practice veterinary medicine. A minimum of three or more years of clinical mixed animal experience is preferred. Prior teaching experience is a plus.
